The Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation has been teaching people how to attain optimal health for over 50 years. Our founding researchers, Dr. Weston A. Price, DDS, and Dr. Frances M. Pottenger, Jr., MD, made groundbreaking observations concerning the relationship of diet to health. From the original efforts of these nutrition pioneers to our present life-changing educational activities, PPNF has been committed to promoting optimal health and nutrition. Here is a brief overview of our history:
1952 – Santa Barbara Medical Research Foundation was founded.
1954 – The Santa Barbara Medical Research Foundation became a nonprofit (501 (c) (3)) organization for public education.
1965 – The Santa Barbara Medical Research Foundation was renamed the Weston A. Price Memorial Foundation.
1969 – The Weston A. Price Memorial Foundation became the Price-Pottenger Foundation to incorporate the work of Dr. Francis M. Pottenger, Jr.
1972 – The Price-Pottenger Foundation was renamed the Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation (PPNF).
We hope that you will get involved. Your donations of time, money, and knowledge will help to keep PPNF a vibrant and growing resource for public health education.
